Rumor Mill 4/19

Indiana Jones 4 - Indy Vs. Space Aliens
Apparently, the first script written for the movie by Frank Darabon (The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile) had Indiana Jones investigating UFO's since the movie so pose to take place in the 1950s after the fall of Nazi power. Steven Spielberg so possible backed this idea and it was George Lucus who shot it down. If this is true, then we have hit a new low. A low where George Lucas makes sane movie choices and Steven Spielburg is the one who is losing his touch with the fans. These two must switch brains every 7 years or something.

CSI - The Death of Sara?
The rumor going around now is that Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) is going to die off in the season finale. The augmented points include the fact that Jorja Fox contract with CBS is up soon and she hasn't renewed it yet, it is rumored the actress is bored of the series, and it is rumored that Grissom and Sara's relationship will be revealed in the season finale. I don't find this evidence persuading by any account but if they did kill her off, it would definitely make for a strong character development of Gill Grissom for next season.

Snallville - Major Character Death Tonight?
So possible on tonight's episode Clark, Lex, Lana, or Chloe is going to be killed off. Obviously killing Clark or Lex would be idiotic since they kinda have to live to continue the series. Everyone is pretty sure that the only possible deaths are Lana or Chloe. Some say Chloe will die because Lana is in the comics and Chloe is not. I say that Lana will die because Chloe is a more likable, strong character, and the death of Lana would definitely increase tensions between Clark and Lex.

Well, whom ever it is that dies tonight, I'm right.

Shaolin Soccer 2: Shaolin Lacrosse
I loved Shaolin Soccer. I think it was funnier than Stephen Chow's Kung Fu Hustle. Well, apparently the movie has built a good following and a sequel is in talks. According to Filmwad the sequel will have none of the characters from the first one and will only be related by the fact that it's kung fu and sports.

I'm not really a fan of sequels that have no real relation to the original but if they make it as funny and enjoyable as the first, I might give this one a try. Besides, Stephen Chow hasn't come out with anything new in a while and I love to see how he changes his movies now that he is moving up the ladder of credibility.

Super Troopers 2
In an interview with Comingsoon.net, Paul Soter mentioned the possibility of a sequel to Super Troopers. Since Broken Lizards' (the name of the comedy group who did Super Troopers) other last two movies, Club Dread and Beerfest haven't done to well they are thinking about going back to one that they know is popular. This is only talk and I don't think it really means anything but if they do make a sequel I am fully interested and will definitely be there opening day to see it.
